AceShowbiz - As investigation into the death of Drakeo The Ruler is still ongoing, a new video has surfaced allegedly showing moments before the fatal stabbing. The video, which surfaced online via Twitter and has been reposted by several accounts, captured a fight that allegedly broke out backstage at the Once Upon a Time music festival in Los Angeles.

In the video, dozens of men can be seen rushing one another. As the fight intensified, some people tried to escape via the gate to the general admission area, but they were held off by the other group of men.

Some of them were seen wearing merch from YG's 4Hunnid brand, which has led to speculation and rumors that the Compton-based rapper's crew was allegedly fighting Drakeo. The two had a beef prior to Drakeo's death. The bad blood between the two escalated earlier this year after Drakeo threated to kill YG in a viral social media video if he didn't stop disrespecting him in interviews.

Drakeo, whose real name was Darrell Caldwell, was stabbed during a violent altercation at the star-studded music festival on Saturday night, December 18. The "Talk to Me" was rushed to a nearby hospital with a serious wound after being jumped at by a group of people backstage, but he did not survive. His manager Wack100 was allegedly caught in the melee as well.

Drakeo's publicist, Scott Jawson, confirmed the rapper's passing in a statement to CNN, saying, "I can confirm his passing but am in shock and unable to share any further details at this time. I'll be releasing a statement from his family as soon as we're able."

Drakeo and YG as well as Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and 50 Cent were among big stars set to perform at the event. However, the California Highway Patrol, which is leading the investigation, told The Sun on Sunday night "there's nothing credible" to suggest any of the other performers at the musical festival were involved.
