AceShowbiz - Kenan Thompson weighed in on fellow "Saturday Night Live" comic Pete Davidson's new romance. Kenan thought Pete's relationship with reality television star Kim Kardashian was "kind of fast."

"I guess it happened kind of fast, but I don't really know their business outside of what everybody else is reading, I guess," Kenan told Access Hollywood. "If they're happy, I'm happy."

Kenan had nothing but good words for his co-star, "He's a good dude, you know. He's a talented boy, and I think he's just very down-to-earth and grounded, and that's very appealing to people. When you can keep it real with somebody and ride a roller coaster - that's special."

Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian linked up following her debut as a host on "SNL" in October this year. The lovebirds were spotted on multiple dates soon after.

It marked Kim's first public dating since she split from husband Kanye West. She officially filed for divorce from the rapper in February this year after nearly seven years of marriage. They agreed to share joint custody of their four children.

Last month, Kanye posted a PDA picture from the couple's happy days to express his hope for reconciliation with estranged wife. He said giving his marriage a second chance would help inspire millions of other families coping with divorce or separation.

"The narrative God wants is to see that we can be redeemed in all these relationships," he claimed. "We've made mistakes. I've made mistakes. I've publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today, for whatever reason - I didn't know I was going to be in front of this mic - I'm here to change the narrative."

Kim hasn't responded to his remarks.

The estranged couple recently reunited in Chicago when they attended their friend Virgil Abloh's funeral. They were joined by the likes of Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Tyler, the Creator, and Lauryn Hill.
