Dispelling the rumor that she's confined to a wheelchair, the daytime talk show host is seen walking barefoot when making her way out from a building into an awaiting car.

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams is seemingly doing better after months of battling health issues. The daytime talk show host has been spotted walking on her own, putting to rest a speculation that said she's confined to a wheelchair.

The 57-year-old was seen walking barefoot when leaving a wellness center on Wednesday, December 1. In a video posted by The Shade Room, she was holding onto a male aide's hand as she made her way out from a building into an awaiting car.

Wendy kept mum when the paparazzo asked if she's sad that her show is being canceled, while it's actually still airing, albeit with a rotating roster of guest hosts. The paparazzi then wished her well, saying, "Everyone does hope you feel better," to which she replied, "Thank you! Thank you very much."

Seeing a chance, the paparazzo asked again, "Are you doing okay?" prompting the author to reply in the third person, "Wendy is doing fabulous." She then teased there's "more Wendy stuff" on the way in the future before closing the door of the car.

Wendy has not been able to return to her talk show since she tested positive for a breakthrough infection of COVID-19 in September. As she continues to recover from "serious" health complications, a number of celebrities namely Sherri Shepherd, Leah Remini and Michael Rapaport have filled in as guest hosts.

Meanwhile, speculations arose last month that Wendy was suffering from dementia and not able to walk on her own. "Rickey Smiley Morning Show" hosts said, "It's not looking really good... Word on the street is Wendy is confined to a wheelchair."

They added that Wendy "has lost all blood circulation in her legs and her feet." They further claimed, "We know that she's been battling with addiction, alcoholism, all that good stuff, and it's also been reported that Wendy has been suffering from the early stages of dementia."

However, her brother Tommy Williams Jr. insisted that his sister was "normal." He told The Sun, "We haven't had any alerts like that and I haven't seen anything like that or have had conversations with her that would lead me to believe that."
