AceShowbiz - Lil Baby has spoken up after he was caught in dating rumors with Saweetie. Addressing the swirling reports on the Internet that linked him to the Santa Clara-born raptress, the 26-year-old star claimed that he is currently single.
Baby, whose real name is Dominique Armani Jones, took to his Twitter page on Thursday, November 25 to respond to the dating speculation. "Baby not dating NO ONE !! I'm Single !" he wrote, debunking the reports.
The dating speculation first surfaced after Hollywood Unlocked reported that Baby and Saweetie went spotting together recently. According to the site, the Atlanta native spent nearly $100,000 on his rumored new girlfriend in the Chanel store in New York. A source insisted that there is actual security footage from the store to support the story.
Saweetie had been in town for her "Saturday Night Live" debut, during which she performed "Tap In" and "Best Friend". She also hit the stage of Powerhouse in New Jersey over the weekend, where Baby also performed.
After catching wind of the reports, Baby's ex Jayda Cheaves quickly reacted. She liked the site's post on Instagram about its exclusive headline, hinting that she's all supportive of the alleged couple.
Twitter users, on the other hand, were left shocked as Saweetie was previously in a longtime relationship with Quavo, who is Baby's labelmate. Moreover, the "Yes Indeed" rapper is known for not getting along well with Quavo's group Migos.
"Damn, Lil Baby dating Saweetie, Quavo's Ex , and they were labelmates? The Quality is not under Control," one person commented. Another weighed in, "Damn Lil Baby and Migos never got along and now it's allegations of Baby dating Saweetie…" Another baffled Twitter user wondered, "Are all American women that materialistic...like girl?
