The 'Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness' star has been relocated from a Fort Worth facility to a different medical center amid his battle with prostate cancer.

AceShowbiz - "Tiger King" star Joe Exotic has been transferred to a medical centre in North Carolina amid his battle with prostate cancer.
The reality TV star, who is serving a 22-year sentence after being convicted of plotting a murder-for-hire against Big Cat Rescue rival Carole Baskin, has been fighting the "aggressive" cancer, which he revealed had spread to his pelvis and stomach earlier this year (21).
Federal prison officials confirmed to TMZ on Friday (19Nov21) Joe was transferred from Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas to a different federal facility in North Carolina on Tuesday, that caters to prisoners with "special health needs."
According to the website, Federal Medical Center Butner provides "extensive medical services" with a full hospital and cancer treatment facilities.
When Joe, real name Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage, shared his condition had worsened, he also admitted he was "ready to die."
The transfer comes just after the Wednesday (17Nov21) premiere of "Tiger King 2" on Netflix, which includes phone interviews with the imprisoned former zoo owner.
Joe Exotic has been seeking prison release amid his cancer battle, reaching out to then-President Donald Trump, aspiring lawyer Kim Kardashian, and big fan Cardi B for help.
In response, Carole Baskin is taking "precautions" for the possibility of his early release.
"We have taken all kinds of precautions to protect me and my family and the sanctuary, and so, we may have to step those up even further, but right now we've done about all that we can do to ensure our safety," she said.
The activist, portrayed on the Netflix series as a villain in her former husband's disappearance, recently discovered her legally-dead ex-husband is actually still alive and well.
