In a new episode of the long-running ABC dancing competition show, eight remaining couples return to the ballroom with a double elimination at the end of the episode ahead of next week's semifinals.

AceShowbiz - It's "Janet Jackson Night" in a new episode of "Dancing with the Stars" season 30. In the new outing, which aired on Monday, November 8, eight remaining couples returned to the ballroom with a double elimination at the end of the episode ahead of next week's semifinals.

The first couple to perform that night were Jimmie Allen and pro Emma Slater, who danced the Cha Cha to "Escapade". Judge Len Goodman commented, "There were one or two heel leads and you shouldn't do that, but this was a nice dance and a nice routine, but is nice good enough to get you into next week, I'm not sure." Bruno Tonioli added that it was "fun, playful." Jimmie got 32/40.

Later, Suni Lee and Sasha Farber hit the stage to dance the Samba to "All for You". "New hair, new confidence, yes. You were so vibrant, you had this beautiful energy, so magnetic, so smooth. A Samba is a tough one and you did it beautifully, so gracefully," Derek Hough said. Carrie Ann Inaba, meanwhile, gushed, "I am so proud of you, we have all been waiting for this, fantastic." The judges gave the pair a perfect score.

As for Melora Hardin, she danced the Paso Doble to "If" alongside Artem Chigvintsev. Bruno loved it as he said, "The queen of mean, ferocious, furious, you were spinning like a whirlwind. I have to say the key to the paso doble is artistry, it was there with the beauty. Absolutely wonderful." Derek added, "You came out and slayed that paso, I could go on and on, you are amazing." Melora also got a perfect score.

Following it up were Olivia Jade and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, who danced the Argentine Tango to "Any Time, Any Place". Carrie Ann raved, "It was a beautiful performance, so elegant and so refined but I would have liked to see a little more heat. In your next dance, through that in." Bruno also noted that the number was "seductive" and "romantic." Olivia got 36/40.

Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke danced the Paso Doble to "Black Cat". "It was big, bold and no nonsense dancing, full of fire. I got to be honest, I didn’t even see you Cheryl, it is a man’s dance and Cody danced is fantastic," Len said. Carrie Ann added, "It was fantastic, you are probably bringing it all together." The judges gave the pair 38/40.

Dancing the Jazz to "Miss You Much" were Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten. Derek was impressed by the number as he gushed, "Oh my goodness, you were just a leading lady from start to finish. Those lifts were difficult, you were insane. That was incredible." Carrie Ann even got up and gave Amanda a hug. The pair received a perfect score.

Next up were Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach who danced the Cha Cha to "Rhythm Nation". "I was impressed in the group section of that dance, it was right on point. It had its moments as a cha cha cha, but for me, not enough of them," Len commented. "You are both special, I feel what is important is to be memorable and that was a very memorable performance," Derek added. Iman got 35/40.

JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson danced the Salsa to "Feedback". "That was amazing, what an incredible Janet night. This is the most intense competition we have ever seen on the show and a lot of it has to do with you. That was sharp, hot and sexy," Carrie Ann said. Bruno raved, "Drop dead sexy. You dare to go there, you put things that push it as far as you can, you have courage and I admire that." The performance earned them 39/40.

It was then time for Dance-Off Pairings. Jimmie & Emma and Suni & Sasha danced the Salsa to "Made for Now (Latin Version)" with Bruno naming Suni as the winner. JoJo and Jenna were then announced as the winner after going against Olivia and Val as they danced the Rumba to "That's the Way Love Goes".

Amanda & Alan and Cody & Cheryl danced the Cha Cha to "Together Again". Judge Len picked Amanda as the winner. Also winning the dance-off pairings were Melora & Artem after they won over Iman & Daniella in the battle of Foxtrot to "Again".

Olivia & Val, Jimmie & Emma, and Melora & Artem were then revealed to be in the bottom three. Olivia and Val were eliminated as they had the lowest combined total of judges scores and viewers votes. The second pair to go home that night was Jimmie and Emma.
