When explaining the matter, the former star of 'iCarly' explains on the 'HypochondriActor' podcast that she did not feel any pain around the mysterious hole.

AceShowbiz - Miranda Cosgrove has recalled her bizarre experience following her 2011 tour bus crash. Revealing that she had a "strange" hole in her leg in the wake of the accident, the former "iCarly" star said she is still confused about how it ended up there.

The 28-year-old walked down memory lane on the "HypochondriActor" podcast. Noting that she found the hole following surgery she had for a broken ankle, the actress detailed, "It was so strange, because when I woke up, I had a cast on, like, a soft cast, and then later I went back and they removed it and then that's when I noticed the hole."

"I was asking questions like, 'What's this? What's that?' And then I was like, 'Wait, why is there a hole in my leg?' " the singer further recounted. "So, they were like, 'Oh, we didn't do that.' "

Miranda explained that the hole about five inches above her ankle, saying, "you could tell it was like somebody punctured through completely and cut a hole." Fortunately, it healed on its own, scabbing over.

Claiming that she didn't feel any pain around it, Miranda said, "The one answer that I did get, and you can tell me if this makes any sense, was the physical therapist told me sometimes they have to drain blood from your foot during the surgery, and that they have to put a hole to fix that." She then asked Dr. Priyanka Wali, who was also on the podcast, "Does that make sense?"

In response, Dr. Priyanka admitted that she's "not familiar with that, but I wouldn't rule it out." The doctor continued elaborating, "You deserved an answer, and I think the health care system owes that to you... If they're going to put you under and do things to your body, you deserve to know what holes are being put in."

The accident took place in August 2011 on I-70 outside of Vandalia, Illinois, according to NBC Los Angeles report. At that time, Miranda was touring the country for her debut album. "There were five passengers on the bus, and Miranda suffered a broken ankle," her representative told the outlet at the time.
