'Teen Mom OG' Star Amber Portwood's Ex Claims She Used Drugs While Pregnant

AceShowbiz - The custody battle between Amber Portwood and her ex-boyfriend Andrew Glennon for their son James has yet to be over. In new court documents, Andrew accused the "Teen Mom" star of using drugs when she was pregnant with their child.

In the docs, which were obtained by The US Sun, Andrew claimed that the reality TV star has "history of substance abuse, even while pregnant with and subsequently caring for the minor child herein." While Amber denied the claims, Andrew noted that she seemed "paranoid and disheveled" at an October 16 parenting exchange.

Further explaining, Andrew claimed that Amber said that two nearby cars were "staking her out" and asking him to tell the people in the vehicles to stop. "[Amber] went so far as to allege that two nearby vehicles were 'taking her out' and waved down Petitioner/Father as he was leaving with the minor child to ask him to tell the individuals in the nearby vehicles to 'stop' staking her out," the docs read.

The California-based father additionally alleged that he "witnessed Amber under the influence of illegal drugs previously, specifically methamphetamine."

As Andrew demanded that Amber takes a hair follicle test, a source close to the situation shared that Amber has passed drug screens throughout probation. "An objection was filed with the court in which it was indicated that Amber is subjected to random drug screens through her probation," said the source.

The informent continued, "It was proven that she has never violated once and that she only uses her prescription medication within the therapeutic limits, as well as the fact that both she and Andrew were subjected to drug screens in a prior case, and Amber never once violated in that case."

Amber and Andrew brokeup after she was arrested in July 2019 for allegedly attacking him with a machete. The MTV personality was later charged with domestic battery, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old. In October of the same year, Amber pleaded guilty to the crime. She was sentenced to probation and ordered to attend parenting classes.
