AceShowbiz - Alex Rodriguez seemingly is taking some time off the dating game. After Jennifer Lopez called off their engagement earlier this year, it has been reported that the former MLB star is not planning to jump into another relationship in the near future.
Of his appearance at Lindsay Shookus' birthday in her Hamptons house over the weekend that sparked romance rumors between the two, a source tells Entertainment Tonight that Alex "was at her house for an hour." The insider adds while "he is friends with a lot of women," the former New York Yankees star "isn't going to be dating for a while."
The businessman is focusing on his family instead as he has been spending time with his two daughters, 16-year-old Natasha and 13-year-old Ella, and their mom, his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis. Earlier this week, he was seen having lunch at NYC's Bar Pitti with the trio alongside her current husband, Angel Nicolas.
The new report arrives after he was spotted partying with Lindsay, who used to date J.Lo's current boyfriend Ben Affleck. In a clip from the bash, 45-year-old businessman was seated right beside the "Saturday Night Live" producer as Josh Beckerman a.k.a. Foodie Magician performed a magic routine.
However, a source claimed that nothing happened between Alex and Lindsay as they're just longtime pals. A representative for A-Rod also insisted that the two "have been friends for 15 years. There is nothing there at all."
Meanwhile, their respective exes, Ben and Jennifer, continue to show off their heated romance following their reconciliation. Lindsay and Ben dated on and off from 2017 to 2019. As for J.Lo and A-Rod, who started dating since 2017, they broke off their engagement earlier this year. The "Let's Get Loud" hitmaker called it quits with him following cheating allegations against the retired MLB star.
