The tension between Meghan Markle and her family apparently has yet to be over. Although she now lives on the same coast as many of her relatives do, the Duchess of Sussex allegedly doesn't want to talk to her family again due to the "different social classes."
The claim was brought by one of the 39-year-old's relatives. When asked whether there will be a potential play date amongst kids in the family, the unnamed relative joked to Fox News, "Yeah, right after I set up a play date with Oprah Winfrey's family, too?.. We're clearly in different social classes and we won't ever talk again."
"I'm not chasing after someone that doesn't want to talk to me," the family source further stressed. "I have my own family and we couldn't be happier sharing the love that we have. So in other words, I couldn't care less."
Despite the rocky relationship between the family and Meghan, the distant relative still sent well wishes for the former "Suits" star upon the arrival of her second child with husband Prince Harry. "I'm happy for them," the relative said of the royal couple. "Starting a family is the most rewarding thing and I wish them the best."
Meghan, who gave birth to daughter Lilibet Diana on Friday, June 4, reportedly did not share the pregnancy news to her family. Back in February, her half-sister Samantha Markle claimed that the Markles "haven't heard" from Meghan, adding that she has been ignoring her father Thomas Markle since 2018.
Later in March, Samantha shut down Meghan's statements in her tell-all interview with Oprah in which she claimed that the two of them do not know each other. "The truth was totally ignored and omitted... I don't know how she can say I don't know her and she was an only child," Samantha argued when speaking to Inside Edition. "We've got photographs over a lifespan of us together. So how can she not know me?"
"I was a Markle before she was," Samantha insisted. "I thought that was kind of weird that she would say I only changed my name back when she met Harry. Markle has always been my name."
