AceShowbiz - Even though several days have passed since the BET Awards was held virtually, it's not too late to celebrate your achievements at the event held on Sunday, June 28. Chris Brown, for instance, recently took to his social media account to mark his win as the Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, though he did it with a little bit of pettiness.
Instead of directly talking about his win at the night, CB shared a video of Jacquees, his competitor, performing an ad lib. "Alexa play… Eeyeeh eeeyeeeh eeeeeyeeeh !" so the "No Guidance" singer captioned the video. People were convinced his post was meant to be a shade towards Jacquees since the latter previously admitted in an interview that he anticipated winning the category.
"That's not shade that's a whole PALM THREE," one commented. "And that's on my eyeeeh." Meanwhile, another person said, "Lol Chris just letting him know he will always be the King of RNB," referring to that one time when Jacquees caused Internet frenzy by claiming that he was the king of R&B.
Jacquees has yet to respond to CB's shade.
