Terry Crews Further Defends His 'Black Supremacy' Tweets as Amanda Seales Slams the Remarks

In response to a fan who hopes to hear more from the 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' actor, the former 'The Real' co-host simply writes on the blue bird app, 'I have no interest in hearing ignorance in different mediums.'

AceShowbiz - Terry Crews faced backlash after he tweeted about the possible "Black supremacy" if people don't unite to fight against racial injustice. The "America's Got Talent" host had tried to explain himself, yet it didn't stop the criticism from coming. In a new series of tweets, Terry once again insisted that he didn't mean harm to the black community with his opinion.

"Please know that everything I've said comes from a spirit of love and reconciliation, for the Black community first, then the world as a whole, in hopes to see a better future for Black people," so Terry shared on Monday, June 8.

He went on to write on the blue bird app, "I believe it is important we not suffer from groupthink, and we keep minds of our own, and be allowed to ask difficult questions to each other. I believe this dialogue is important as we get through this trauma together. I love you."

Terry Crews' Black supremacy tweets

Terry Crews defended his 'Black supremacy' tweets.

His comments arrived after former "The Real" co-host Amanda Seales took to her account to share her own take on the controversial matter. Criticizing Terry, Amanda said, "so just we're clear: 1: there is no such thing as BLACK SUPREMACY. Liberation from an oppressive system is not rooted in a desire to BECOME the oppressive system."

"2: yes, there are people who attempt to measure blackness according to diff methods. My bottom line is EVERY black experience IS a black experience UNLESS it is ANTI-black," Amanda continued, before adding that Terry's "tweets and previous actions are a demonstration of anti-blackness. When you use yourself in any way to obstruct the truth of another black person's PRO-BLACK experience you are a coon. He did that with Gab and he's doing that with this movement."

Amanda, who recently announced her exit from "The Real", then urged celebrities to educate themselves before tweeting. "4: A lotta my fellow celebs need their phones taken away and replaced with books. You're not playing a role. You're a role model. We must know our history better than we know their scripts," she concluded.

Amanda Seales slammed Terry Crews

Amanda Seales schooled Terry Crews over controversial remarks.

After reading her tweets, a fan responded, "I'm curious to hear him speak. Some times ppl have something to say and not asking for feedback. I don't want him to delete his tweet. But it would be good to hear him... I find it odd... how do we catch up 401 years..." In response to that, Amanda simply wrote, "I have no interest in hearing ignorance in different mediums."

Amanda is among celebrities who came after Terry for his controversial remarks. Before this, "Whiskey Cavalier" actor Tyler James Williams and comedian Godfrey dragged Terry for the tweets.
