The 'Fallin' hitmaker pens a touching poem dedicated to her youngest son Genesis on Instagram amid the nationwide protests against racially-fueled police brutality.

AceShowbiz - Alicia Keys has dedicated a touching poem to her son in honour of the Black Lives Matter movement.
The singer has taken to Instagram to write words of encouragement for five-year-old Genesis, urging him to rise above any difficulties he may face growing up.
"My beautiful baby boy/So curious and pure/Yet SO clear about what you don't want/'NO!' you say with vigor/When you don't like something going on in your small but powerful 5-year-old-world," she wrote alongside an image of Genesis. "I hope that never changes/I hope that inner strength and fire/Never extinguishes/And you never feel the sway to fit in/Or be silenced."
The star, who also shares son Egypt, nine, with husband Swizz Beatz, also expressed her hopes for her little boy's future.
She added, "I have a STRONG feeling you won't/That's just not the fabric from which u came/Look at you/Future architect, Builder, Mastermind, Wisdom keeper, Re-shaper, Change maker.../My Beautiful Baby Boy/You are unstoppable!!!"
Keys finished the post by directing fans to the link in her bio for ways they could "stay involved" in the fight for racial justice.
The "Fallin' " hitmaker's tribute comes as protests sweep the U.S. in response to George Floyd's death. Floyd, an unarmed African-American man, was killed by a police officer in Minnesota on May 25, 2020.
The first of Floyd's memorial services was held in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Thursday, June 4, 2020.
