This is not the first time for SZA to come forward with a story of her getting racist treatment while shopping as she experienced something similar when she visited a California branch of Sephora back in 2019.

AceShowbiz - SZA opened up about another heartbreaking experience of her being racially profiled while shopping. On Monday, June 1, the R&B singer made use of her Twitter account to share her "WEEIRDDESSST EXPERIENCES TODAY" when she went to shop for a dog food.

"I've had the WEEIRDDESSST EXPERIENCES TODAY. Woozy face another random a** man tried to remove me from a plaza In palisades while attempting to buy dog food for fear I was a 'rioter'. Lol He asked the grocery employee if he was 'okay' after watching him speak w me then told me 2 leave," so she tweeted.

A fan apparently asked her if the said man is a white person, to which SZA responded, "Yes sir . Yes he was." The star continued recalling, "Between the 'lock and load' rhetoric on my neighborhood app + being rushed out of a public space for being considered a rioter ...I was in tears. couldn't even jump up and down how I wanted cause I didn't wanna look like a 'rioter' to the legion of cops across the street. Smh."

"And in that moment I realized I cared more about the white gaze than my own humanity .. I was sad for me . I don't wanna live like that no more . I wanna cry and yell if I need to .. no guilt trip," she went on to say. "THIS S**T NOT FAIR !!!!UUUGGHHHHHY VERY IMMATURE RESPONSE VERY MUCH HOW IT IS."

This is not the first time for SZA to come forward with a story of her getting racist treatment while shopping. In a May 2019 Twitter post, the "All the Stars" hitmaker said store security guards were called to ensure she wasn't stealing when she was shopping for products from Rihanna's Fenty Beauty collection at a California branch of makeup giant Sephora.

"Lmao (laughing my a** off) Sandy Sephora (sic) location 614 Calabasas called security to make sure I wasn't stealing," SZA posted on Twitter after the rude encounter. However, the Oscar and Grammy-nominated star refused to lose her temper over the incident, and instead chose to wish the employee well. "We had a long talk. U have a blessed day Sandy (sic)," she said. She then quipped, "Can a b***h cop (buy) her fenty in peace er whut (sic)."
