The 'Grease' actress and the country music trio are set to lead the celebration of the LGBTQ+ community along with Ava Max and some of the world leaders.

AceShowbiz - Olivia Newton-John, Ava Max, and the Dixie Chicks are among the stars celebrating Global Pride with a special livestream event next month, June 2020.

In place of annual celebrations of the LGBTQ+ community that take place during Pride Month, the online Global Pride event has been organised amid the Covid-19 crisis, with a host of musicians, world leaders, and drag queens among the first wave of stars confirmed to appear.

Ava Max, Olivia Newton-John, Deborah Cox, Kristine W, Dixie Chicks, Thelma Houston, Bright Light Bright Light, Courtney Act, Steve Grand, and Rachel Sage are all scheduled to appear, alongside world leaders including Carlos Alvarado Quesada, President of Costa Rica, Prime Ministers of Norway and Luxembourg, Erna Solberg and Xavier Bettel, and Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil of India.

Organisers are planning a 24-hour stream of Pride content, together with speeches from world leaders, activists and human rights defenders, reflecting the organisers' statement that "Pride events might be cancelled but the spirit of Pride will live on."
