AceShowbiz - Celebrities, just like the rest of us, spend time during self-quarantine by doing any kind of home entertainment they can find and among the options is making TikTok videos. Some of them seemingly are so into the app as they appear to not be able to stop making videos on the platform.
Getting the help of their partners or family members, whom they are quarantining together with, some stars decided to take part in viral challenges in the video platform. Some others, meanwhile, gave laughter by reenacting some iconic lines from movies or TV shows including "Keeping Up with the Kardashians".
Here are some funny celebrity TikTok videos during self-isolation that may make your day.
Nothing more hilarious than seeing stars poking fun at their own shows. This time, it was Kylie Jenner and Kris Jenner who took to the former's TikTok account to parody the fighting scene between Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians".
"So, are we cool? Like, are we in agreement?" Kris mouthed to Scott's words. Kylie, who played Kourtney, responded, "ABCDEFG I have to go," before dramatically sliding on a pair of pearl-studded sunglasses. Confused, Kris' Scott said, "What the heck does ABCDEFG mean?" to which Kylie's Kourtney explained, "It's just a phrase I like to use… It means the conversation is over."
It's a good thing that TikTok is for anyone from any age. Anthony Hopkins apparently didn't want to be left out of the trend as he made his own version of Drake's "Toosie Slide" challenge on the platform.
Donning a dark outfit, the 82-year-old actor/director moved his body to the beat before giving a shoutout to Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. "Hey, Mr Stallone, keep writing! Good part for me in it? Gimme a part, major - huh?" before recreating "I'll be back" catchphrase from "Terminator". Captioning the video on Twitter, Hopkins wrote, "#Drake I'm late to the party... but better late than never. #SylvesterStallone #ArnoldSchwarzenegger #toosieslidechallenge."
Ashley Tisdale is walking down a memory lane in one of her TikTok videos. To celebrate her one-million follower achievement on the video-sharing platform, she brought life back into her iconic "The High Musical" character, Sharpay Evans.
Back in January, she recreated one of her best-known lines from the first film. The said lines was from the scene where a poor guy walks up to Sharpay's locker trying to ask her to watch one of his basketball games. Donning bubblegum pink heart-shaped shades, Ashley channelled her inner Sharpay as she yelled, "Evaporate, tall person!"
Ashley Tisdale is not the only one who redid a scene from her popular movie. Jonas Brothers made use of the app to revisit "Camp Rock" in a TikTok video which saw them reprising their roles in the Disney Channel Original Movie.
In the video that was taken inside a car, the trio donned the hair they sported back in 2008 with Nick Jonas wearing a curly wig. "I'm Shane Grey, for crying out loud!" Joe Jonas mimed to his character's lines as Nick and Kevin Jonas tried to convince his character that returning to the camp would be fun.
Jason Derulo only wanted to have fun with TikTok, but that cost him his front teeth. The singer attempted to do his own version of corn challenge but things took a painful turn when he tried to eat corn on the cob while it was attached to the end of an electric drill.
"Hey, have y'all seen this (sic)? I've always wanted to try it. Life hack!" he said before turning the power drill on. In the middle of the video, however, he shouted in pain and then revealed his broken front teeth. It remains to be seen if the incident was real but some fans were convinced it was a prank.
Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez might not be the only ones participating in "Flip the Switch" dance challenge, where two people switch positions after the light flickers off, but their version was arguably the best. In the video, the singing diva looked stunning in a white turtleneck sweaterdress while A.Rod looked dapper in a navy blue blazer and khaki trousers.
The two stood in front of a mirror as J.Lo opened the clip by doing her hip-shaking dance moves to Drake's 2018 song "Nonstop". A.Rod, meanwhile, was seen standing stoic while holding a phone. Later when the light was off, the video revealed A.Rod moving his body in an identical white bodycon.
It seemed like Tinashe got her dancing skills from her dad. In a March video that the singer posted on TikTok, the father and daughter duo joined forces as they perfectly nailed their dancing routine.
The pair looked casual in sports wear with Tinashe opting for a grey crop top and blue training pants. As for her dad, he wore a black hoodie and grey sweatpants. Despite the huge age gap, Tinashe's dad didn't seem to be struggling to match her daughter's smooth dancing moves. The "All Hands on Deck" singer uploaded it on her Twitter account, sharing that "my dad wanted in."
Will Smith is also among the celebrities who got to taste the fun of TikTok. The "Bad Boys for Life" actor, however, didn't opt to do some viral challenge or dancing TikTok videos. Instead, he managed to mess with his fans' heads with his TikTok clip.
The clip opened with Will making an entrance. He then pointed to a text above his head which read, "Arms for your chairs are just chairs for your arms." The sentence might be confusing at first, but it actually made sense after a minute or two.
Kaia Gerber had so much fun time while in quarantine with friends Cara Delevingne, Tommy Dorfman and Ashley Benson. One of the ways for them to kill time amid the self-isolation was making all kinds of videos on TikTok.
Shared on Ashley's TikTok account, one of their hilarious takes on TikTok videos saw the group acting out a classic scene from "RuPaul's Drag Race". Each of them was playing one character as Kaia, who was in her bathrobe, was yelling, "We're not dirty!"
Jonas Brothers are so into TikTok and their videos are indeed gems. Among their hilarious TikTok videos was the one featuring them channelling their inner Kardashian by reenacting a "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" scene.
The trio reenacted a fight scene from the long-running TV show. Joe, playing Kim Kardashian, entered a room and quickly hit Nick's Khloe Kardashian while saying, "Don't be f***ing rude! Don't be f***ing rude to me! I'll f***ing hurt you! Don't do that!" As if that was not hilarious enough, Kevin passed by hilariously while miming Kendall Jenner's "OMG!"
