Having beaten Natalie Anderson and Michele Fitzgerald to be 'Survivor: Winners At War' champion, Tony Vlachos assures that he won't get matching vehicles for himself and his wife.

AceShowbiz - Tony Vlachos will make the best out of his "Survivor" prize money in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Shorty after being crowned "Survivor: Winners At War" champion, the 46-year-old reality star admits he will be seeking financial security using the two million dollar prize he won from the competition series.

"It opened up my eyes to see how [important] financial security it is. Anything can happen," the police officer told ET after the Wednesday, May 13 finale. "Right now we're going through people losing their jobs." He added, "The first million that I won with 'Survivor', I invested in a lot of properties… the best thing to do is to pay off those mortgages and be secure."

Asked if he will get matching vehicles with his wife, Tony responded, "Me and my wife, we're good. We're just going to relax and watch our kids live their life to the fullest." He went on to reveal that he has promised to buy his children "go-karts, little ones with gas in them," spilling further, "They're so excited about that. One pink one, one blue one."

With his Wednesday win, Tony joined Sandra Diaz-Twine as the second-ever two-time "Survivor" winner. He had previously won "Survivor: Cagayan". When asked who is the greatest of the greatest, however, he was quick to point out, "It's very hard to say." Still, he did point out, "But the one thing I can say is in this season, I think I'm the greatest. To me, that's how it is."

During the chat, Tony confessed that watching the clip of him sobbing after beating Sarah Lacina in the fire-making competition reduced him to tears. "I was bawling. It brought me right back to that moment and I was devastated," he explained. "Sarah is the most powerful person I've ever met." He added, "So I give her credit, she's a brave, brave human being."

In the season 40 finale, Tony came out as a champion after beating out Natalie Anderson and Michele Fitzgerald with 11 out of 16 votes from jury members.
