While the 16-year-old hails Colleen Conrad as a 'loving and awesome mother figure,' his father Jon Gosselin wishes him and his five siblings, Aaden, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah, a happy 16th birthday.

AceShowbiz - Kate Gosselin's estranged son seemed to be using a special occasion to throw shade at her. On Sunday, May 10, Collin Gosselin celebrated Mother's Day by giving a sweet shout-out to his father's girlfriend, Colleen Conrad, instead of sending one to his own mother.
"Turns out today is Mother's Day, today we pay love forward to our mothers," the 16-year-old began his tribute in an Instagram post that saw him posing with Colleen which has since been deleted, "but I don't think mother can describe all the things Colleen has done for me."
"Yes a mother clothes her children and cooks for them but it's the best feeling when your mother or mother figure is one of your best friends and always has your back, the one who always shares that laugh of the humor only you guys get," he continued praising the woman Jon Gosselin has been dating for almost six years.
"I could call it Mother's Day, but it's more than that, Colleen, you are so much more than a mother to me, you are one of my guidelines and one of my guiding lights," he raved. "Thank you doesn't say enough, I love you so much and you've done so much for me that claims you my strong, happy, loving and awesome mother figure, you're irreplaceable. Thank you so much Colleen love you so much!!!"
On the same day, Colin and his five siblings turned 16, and both of his parents have turned to their individual Instagram accounts to wish them a Happy Birthday. Kate commemorated the special day by posting a picture of Hershey's Kisses cereal along with a message that read, "Happy 16th Birthday to my half a dozen 'Hershey Kisses', as they were called at birth!"
"I love you so much! You're 6 of the sweetest things to happen to my life! Thanks for making every Mother's Day extra memorable!" she went on gushing. "(They requested 'junk cereals' for their birthday lunch (?!) so I got a bit carried away, as usual, and got them 21 different kinds! #Teenagers #AreFun #Sweet16 #HappyBirthdayMyBabies."
Jon, in the meantime, posted a simple social media note that read, "Happy 16th Birthday to Hannah & Collin!!! I miss you Leah, Joel, Alexis and Aaden I hope your 16th Birthday is just as memorable!!! Love, Dad." Along with it, he wrote in the caption, "Happy 16th to my six wonderful kids!! Been a long road I wish all the best!!! Wow 16!!!! Love you all!!!"
Colin and his sister Hannah have been living with Jon since 2018. Back in early February, their father Jon accused their mother Kate of alienating them from their other siblings. Speaking to Alec Lace on the "First Class Fatherhood" podcast, the 42-year-old revealed, "There is no contact between Collin and his other siblings. There's contact between Hannah and the other siblings."
The "Jon & Kate Plus 8" alum went on to suggest, "The problem right now is we have parent alienation and we have sibling alienation." He continued to spill that when he got sole custody of Collin, his ex-wife established "no contact" with the teen, "so there's a whole bunch of stuff that happened with him."
