The founding member of Crosby, Stills & Nash candidly admits that he will be in 'deep financial trouble' should promoters decide to pull the plug on his upcoming live shows.

AceShowbiz - Veteran rocker David Crosby is facing the prospect of losing his home if the coronavirus pandemic forces the cancellation of his upcoming tour plans.
The Crosby, Stills & Nash star has gigs lined up for much of the year from mid-May, and while promoters have yet to pull the plug on his live shows, he fears any drastic changes to his touring schedule will seriously affect his ability to pay his bills, including his mortgage.
"I'm sitting here waiting for them (show officials) to cancel all my tours this summer and put me in deep financial trouble," he tells GQ magazine.
"You know they don't pay us for records anymore, right? So touring is all we got. That's really the only thing that we can do to make any money. And to lose it is just awful."
Sharing the extent of his own potential money woes, he adds, "I may - honest to God - I may lose my home. I don't know what to do about it, except just try to roll with the punches and keep going. Truthfully, if I lose the tours, I probably will lose my home."
"They haven't talked about May yet, which is when I'm slated to go," he continues. "But once I start in May, I'm working almost constantly until about six days before Christmas. And if I lose it all, I'm going to be in deep s**t."
Crosby's candid comments come as government officials worldwide implement drastic new measures to slow the spread of COVID-19, with authorities in many U.S. states banning gatherings of more than 50 people, and encouraging locals to self-isolate.
Elton John, Pearl Jam, Cher, Madonna, and KISS are just some of the big names forced to put tour plans on hold amid the coronavirus crisis, which has so far led to at least 67 deaths across 49 U.S. states, with roughly 3,700 confirmed cases of infection, as of Monday (March 16).
