The 'Joke's On You' songstress takes to her Instagram account to announce she has been diagnosed with the novel epidemic as she urges people to 'stay inside' whether 'you feel sick or not.'

AceShowbiz - Singer Charlotte Lawrence assured fans she's "going to be completely fine" after testing positive for coronavirus.

The 19-year-old star announced the diagnosis on her Instagram page on Wednesday, March 18, telling fans she was told "a couple days ago" by her doctor that she had COVID-19.

"I am going to be completely fine," she wrote. "But many who get it won't be if too many people get sick too quickly. So this is not me asking for prayers, for love, for sweet messages. This is me pleading for you all to protect those less able to survive this virus."

Pleading with people to abide by the advice of health officials to practice social distancing during the pandemic, Charlotte continued her post to urge her fans to stay indoors.

"Stay inside. Please. Whether you feel sick or not, stay inside," she continued. "Think about your parents. Think about your grandparents. I love so many people who might have a very tough time getting through this. This about someone else getting your loved ones sick because they didn’t listen, because they thought they knew better. Because they were selfish.

"We have the power to slow this down. So please, please isolate yourself. Stay lean. Stay informed. Stay aware and make others aware."

Concluding her message, Charlotte wrote: "And for the love of god, self f**king quarantine or you'll be on my s**t list."

The "Sleep Talking" singer is the latest famous face to be diagnosed with the virus, following Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Idris Elba and Olga Kurylenko.
