'The Batman' and the third 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' movie have also put its filming in England on hold, joining the growing list of film and TV projects affected by the coronavirus crisis.

AceShowbiz - The forthcoming adaptation of "Cinderella (2021)" has joined the growing list of film and TV shoots halted as the world tackles the coronavirus pandemic.

Bosses at Sony have decided to send the cast and crew of the project, currently filming at Pinewood Studios in the U.K., home for a planned two-week hiatus.

Camila Cabello stars in the film, opposite Billy Porter.

The news comes as "The Batman" and the third "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" movie were also postponed in England.

Also among the latest film cancellations are Sylvester Stallone's "Samaritan", which was being shot in Atlanta, Georgia, and the new Apple TV thriller series "Suspicion", which recently started filming in the U.K. The Puerto Rico production of "Midnight in the Switchgrass", starring Megan Fox, Emile Hirsch and Bruce Willis, has also been put on hold just one week into filming.
