The actress/dancer wife of Ice-T has defended her decision to still be nursing her daughter Chanel at that age, telling one mom-shamer that 'Europeans ween around 7.'

AceShowbiz - Coco Austin is still breastfeeding her 4-year-old daughter Chanel and she isn't ashamed of it. On Friday, March 13, the wife of rapper-turned-actor Ice-T shared on her Instagram page an intimate photo of her nursing her daughter while the little girl sweetly touches her mother's cheek.
"At a time when the world feels like its coming to an end.. suck up as much love as you can!" she captioned the snap. Coco also made use of her platform to support other moms who are still breastfeeding their children. "I know the moms out there will appreciate this pic! Ive been getting alot of props in the breasfeeding community and get tons of emails from woman/moms appreciating me bringing light to the subject."
"I write a baby blog about my journey with Chanel and soon I will write about what it's like to continue boob time with a 4 year old.. I get tons and tons of requests that want me to speak on it!" she told her followers who would like to know more about nursing a 4-year-old.
Before the parenting police school her about child nutrition, she assured them, "At this point in nursing its just for comfort and believe me the girl loves meat so its not like she isnt eating real food." She added to her fans, "Thank you to all that understand my view.. i see most of you are so eager to side with me and I too root for you in your journey as well.. Us moms are connected."
Despite Coco's brief explanation in the caption, some people are still baffled at her decision to breastfeed her daughter at such age. Someone told the 40-year-old actress/dancer, "She's 4 feed her some real food."
Another similarly commented, "Get that child a cheeseburger for Christ sake," to which Coco replied, "believe me my boob is just a snack she eats steak." Coco also took time to respond to other critics, including one who said it's "a little weird at 4 years old." The glamor model disagreed, reasoning that "Europeans ween around 7."
Someone else speculated that "this 4 year old still wears diapers too" as he/she found it "disturbing" that the girl is still drinking milk from her mother. Coco debunked this though, saying that her daughter has "been pottied trained since 2 years old."
Some others, meanwhile, shared their similar experiences with breastfeeding. "People need to be educated BUT even if they aren't it's none of their business regardless. That's between you and her. My son is about to be 4 in a couple weeks and I have a 2.5 year old...both are still nursed," one wrote in the comment section.
"Tandem nursing here 12 days old and 28 months old," another wrote, while someone else defended Coco, "There's nothing wrong for women to breast-feed their babies because boobs are scientifically for feeding babies, but not just for sex."
