AceShowbiz - Amanda Bynes has revealed her mystery boyfriend, a day after announcing her engagement on Instagram. The 33-year-old actress surprised everyone when she broke the news on Valentine's Day since there had been very rare updates on her dating life, but now the former Nickelodeon star has answered the big question by debuting her new fiance.

On Saturday, February 15, the "Hairspray" star updated her social media account with a photo of her and her fiance, Paul Michael. "Lover," she simply captioned the selfie, which showed her and Paul looking standing up straight and looking into the camera.

According to E! News, Amanda met Paul while she was in rehab and they've been dating for about two to three months.

Amanda announced her engagement on Friday with a snap of a massive rock on her ring finger and her fiance's hand with a more simple, gold band on his finger. She wrote in the caption, "Engaged to tha (sic) love of my life."

While many have congratulated her on the news, some people were not convinced that Amanda is really engaged. "Press on nails and fake ring wtf," one person wrote. A curious fan asked, "she wearing the same ring in her previous upload from like last week???"

"with her you never know! He/She could very well be married or not even exist," another wrote. A fourth user added, "Cause a week ago you had that same ring on so just curious." Someone else remarked, "invented marriage."

One person defended her against the Internet trolls though, clapping back at those people, "It doesn't say she just got engaged. It says she's engaged. Maybe she's been engaged for ten years now. Who knows."

Despite people's doubt, however, E! News confirms that Amanda's engagement is real.

Amanda has been relatively out of the spotlight since checking into a psychiatric hospital in 2014 after revealing her bipolar disorder diagnosis. She recently fled a sober living facility she was living in and is currently living with her parents Lynn and Rick Bynes.
