AceShowbiz - Billie Eilish is now a Grammy winner. Her mega hit, "Bad Guy", was unveiled as the winner of Song of the Year during the event that took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 26. In doing so, the 18-year-old singer edged out the likes of Taylor Swift, Lady GaGa, Taylor Swift and Lizzo.

During her acceptance speech, an emotional Billie couldn't believe she won one of the four major awards at the event and apologized to fellow nominees, "So many other songs deserved this, I'm sorry. Thank you so much. This is my first Grammy, I never thought it would ever happen in my whole life. I grew up watching them."

She went on thanking her brother and frequent collaborator, Finneas, who then took the mic from her and said, "This is a really, really big deal we don't... I have no idea what to say. I didn't think we're gonna win this at all. I love every song in this list. ...We just made music in the bedroom together. We still do that, and they let us do that. This is for all the kids that's making music in their bedroom today. You're gonna get one of this."

Shortly after that, Nipsey Hussle scored another posthumous win as his collaboration with DJ Khaled and John Legend, "Higher", was crowned Best Rap/Sung Performance. Khaled, who won his first Grammy with the song's win, dedicated the trophy to the late rapper. He also thanked his wife and gushed over the arrival of his new baby boy, whom he named Alam.

Meanwhile, John said, "I want to thank all of you for supporting this and for lifting Nipsey's name up. You know we all love him, we all miss him. It's terrible that we had to lose him so early. We thanked his family for being here tonight with us."

Prior to this, Nipsey took home Best Rap Performance for his collaboration with Roddy Ricch "Racks in the Middle".
