The older sister of Bella Hadid has been sued for $150,000 by Robert O'Neil for using his snap of her on/off boyfriend on her Instagram Story timeline without permission.

AceShowbiz - Model Gigi Hadid has settled a social media legal spat over a paparazzi photo taken of her on/off boyfriend Zayn Malik.

Robert O'Neil took the runway regular to court in September (2019), claiming Hadid had infringed upon his copyright by sharing his snap of Zayn on her Instagram Story timeline without permission.

The post featured the former One Direction star walking in the street, over which the 24-year-old wrote, "My Manz (sic)" and "Muze (sic)".

He sued for $150,000 (£114,000), but the two parties have since reached a private deal, which has led to the photographer dropping all claims against Hadid, reports The Blast.

She isn't alone in facing legal action from members of the paparazzi for Instagram pictures - Gigi's sister, Bella Hadid, is also battling a similar suit, as are Rebel Wilson and Liam Hemsworth.
