AceShowbiz - Dog the Bounty Hunter a.k.a. Duane Chapman has responded to dating rumors linking him to Moon Angell amid backlash from his daughters. The reality TV star denies that he's romantically involved with the longtime assistant of his late wife Beth Chapman, describing her as just a friend who's helping him get through the death of his wife.

"She has just been so good to me. I'll get really emotional and find myself getting into a dark hole and she will tell me to suck it up," he says in an interview with Radar Online. "So it's been good having her by my side."

But Dog doesn't rule out the possibility of him dating a new girl anytime soon, confessing, "I'm very lonely." He explains, "Beth [and I] talked about death and I'd say, 'you know Beth, I'll never get married and I'll never have a girlfriend again.' She's like 'shut up. You will too. You need a woman beside you.' "

"I'm the kind of guy that has to have a woman around me. There will never another Mrs. Dog," he adds while holding back tears. "But I have to find a way to move on. I'm so lonely right now. I'm just really lonely."

Duane's comments on the dating rumors come after his daughters Lyssa Chapman and Cecily Chapman blasted Moon for allegedly moving on the bounty hunter "weeks" after Beth, whom Moon reportedly called "friend," passed away.

"If someone who met your family by dating your brother, tried to date your father after your step- mom died what would you do ? If you went to your mothers closet and saw she moved all her clothes and replaced them with her own, what would you do ?" Lyssa tweeted on Monday, January 5, adding the hashtag #ItsNotWhenOrWhyItsWho.

Cecily echoed her sister's sentiment as posting on Tuesday, "I've been very quiet concerning the circumstances but tbh what kinda 'friend' moves into a dead friends house with their husband?! And ACTS LIKE THEY DID NOTHING WRONG?" she additionally called Moon a "narcissist."
