The former No Doubt frontwoman is overcome with emotions watching a contestant's rendition of the Foreigner's classis song 'I Want to Know What Love Is'.

AceShowbiz - Gwen Stefani asked to "cut the cameras" as she broke down in tears during "The Voice U.S." semi-finals on Monday, December 9.

The coach was left emotional following her final contestant Rose Short's performance of the Foreigner classic "I Want to Know What Love Is", and was so moved that she could barely speak when host Carson Daly asked for her feedback.

"I'm not ready. Oh my god, I'm crying," the "Sweet Escape" star said, hiding her face. "That was unbelievable. I'm so in awe of you. I'm so honoured to work with you."

"Cut the cameras!" she added, shooing them away from her. "Oh my gosh."

The former No Doubt frontwoman wasn't alone in her response, as fellow coach Kelly Clarkson also teared up.

"It was moving, that's why you're crying. You are a gift," she told Short. "I don't care what happens on this show, you are so blessed."

The second part of "The Voice U.S." semi-finals airs Tuesday night on NBC.
