AceShowbiz - Martin Scorsese's mob drama "The Irishman", "The Farewell" and "Joker" have been named among the American Film Institute's 2019 Motion Pictures of the Year list.
The news completes a trio of top awards for Scorsese's new Netflix film, following best movie wins at the New York Film Critics Circle and National Board of Review.
Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson's acclaimed drama "Marriage Story, Clint Eastwood's "Richard Jewell", "1917", "JoJo Rabbit", "Knives Out", "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", and Greta Gerwig's "Little Women (2019)" adaptation also make the prestigious AFI list, while director Bong Joon Ho's "Parasite" has scored an AFI Special Award, designated for a work of excellence outside the Institute's criteria for American film and television.
Meanwhile, AFI members have also picked their 10 outstanding TV programmes of 2019.
