The Los Angeles County Coroner uncovers that the ex-boyfriend of Lindsay Lohan passed away at the age of 38 after suffering sudden cardiac arrest because of several blockages in his arteries.

AceShowbiz - Lindsay Lohan's ex-boyfriend Harry Morton died of a heart attack, a coroner has confirmed.

The restaurateur was found unresponsive at his Beverly Hills home on Saturday, November 23 and was subsequently pronounced dead, aged 38.

It was previously reported that Harry‘s cause of death had been deferred pending additional investigation, after an initial autopsy proved inconclusive, but after preliminary tests the Los Angeles County Coroner learned that he died after suffering a heart attack due to several blockages in his arteries, TMZ later confirmed.

The coroner also revealed that Harry was suffering from coronary artery disease and also had a "mildly enlarged heart".

Harry's family also had another doctor confirm that the entrepreneur had calcification in three of his main arteries, which caused a sudden cardiac arrest.

They told the New York Post's gossip column Page Six in a statement: "We are devastated by the loss of our beloved son, brother and friend. Harry was the brightest light in all our lives and his spirit will live on forever."

Following news of his tragic passing, his ex Lindsay was among those to pay her respects, sharing a black and white picture of herself and her ex, who she dated in 2006, on her Instagram page.

Alongside it, she wrote: "Best friends. Best life."
