AceShowbiz - Jim Edmonds has shut down speculation that he went on a date with his rumored side chick Carly Wilson amid his nasty split from Meghan King Edmonds. The former professional basketball player has hit back after some people spread rumor that he was spotted with his nanny, whom he was accused of having an affair with, at Post Malone's concert in Anaheim, California, on Saturday, November 16.

Taking to his Instagram page, the 49-year-old clarified that the girl accompanying him at the concert was actually his 19-year-old daughter Hayley Edmonds, from his first wife Lee Ann Horton. He shared a picture of him with Hayley during the father-daughter outing and wrote in the caption, "I took my first steps outside in a while last night with my beautiful daughter Hayley. Trying to repair a broken life and heart that should not be broken."

To those who assumed he was on a date with his nanny, Jim hit back, "For all you people out there that think that I would be with our nanny. You all need to get a life!. I have a wife, family and kids to worry about and that's my only worry right now. Everyone else, BYE !" He added, "thank you to all my friends for you continued support."

The caption has since been edited to remove mention of the nanny.

Hayley commented on her dad's post, "Thanks for flying out here to take me! You are the best, I love you #strongertogether."

Jim filed for divorce from Meghan in late October amid rumor that he cheated on her with their 22-year-old nanny Carly. Following the accusation, both Jim and Carly have denied that they had an affair, while Hayley defended her father against Meghan's claims.

Jim then released a statement saying that he regretted the way their split has "spiraled out of control with no way to stop it." He stated, "I have way too much love for my wife and kids for this to happen and it's time for us to get back to the private life we used to live," vowing that he "will make it right again."
