AceShowbiz - Keke Palmer isn't interested in pursuing a relationship with Mike Johnson despite his public date offer. On Wednesday, October 16, her "Strahan, Sara and Keke" co-hosts Michael Strahan and Sara Haines followed up on the reality TV star's date invite, asking the actress if she's going to go on a date with Mike or not.

"No," Keke quickly replied. She then explained why she turned down the date offer, "Well, first of all, I get real spooked about entertainers or reality [stars] ... I don't know, it really scares me to date people in the industry. That's number one."

"Number two, he asked me in front of everybody," she continued, admitting that it made her feel "ambushed." She added of Mike's unexpected question, "I felt like it was a big ol' gag." She said with a laugh, "I felt like I was the gag, I've been duped!"

Her co-host Sara couldn't help pranking Keke by calling Mike to come out, though he wasn't present that day. Michael, meanwhile, declared to the audience that Keke "is still single" for now.

Mike surprised everyone when he asked Keke out on a date during his appearance on the talk show on Monday. "The Bachelorette" alum was talking about his short fling with Demi Lovato, admitting that he "made a mistake" by making their relationship public, before saying to the "Scream" star, "But if I were to ask you if we could go on a date in the public."

Poking fun at the moment that left her blushed, Keke then took to Instagram to share the clip and captioned it, "Even at the workplace #imtakenbymyjob #strahansarakeke."

Meanwhile, some people called Mike out on Twitter for asking Keke out in public, accusing him of being disrespectful and doing it for publicity stunt.

Responding to the backlash, Mike tweeted on Tuesday, "For those with untrue assumptions.. I'm grateful to be in your thoughts... 1. I deflected a question posed to me on my dating life - made a playful comment 2. I love black women too 3. Im happy, those are the vibes."
