AceShowbiz - The Game has weighed in on Tekashi69 a.k.a. 6ix9ine's situation after many fellow rappers blasted the latter for snitching on his former Nine Trey Blood Gang members. Met at MedMen in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, September 24, the Grammy Award-winning artist expressed his mixed feelings for the 23-year-old star.
The 39-year-old, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, feels sorry for the 23-year-old star for having to go through the ordeal, but doesn't support his decision to snitch. "I feel sad for that kid. I feel sad for a lot of kids that's getting into this shit and don't know what they're doing. They're claiming to be something they are not and, you know, this is how it turns out," he said to TMZ.
"At this point, I guess he gotta do what he gotta do to save himself," The Game asserted, before adding, "but snitching ain't the way partna. That's trash. You gotta do the time." He implied that 6ix9ine should take his punishment instead of trying to reduce it, saying, "You gonna do the crime, you gotta do the time. I don't care how long it is, we ain't snitching out here."
When asked about 6ix9ine's music career after snitching, The Game said, "I don't even know what these kids are doing these days with this music. Maybe they condone snitching, but my generation don't f**k with that."
6ix9ine has been testifying in court against Nine Trey Blood Gang members Anthony "Harv" Ellison and Aljermiah "Nuke" Mack. During the trials, he also outed Jim Jones and Cardi B as alleged gang members.
The "FEFE" rapper was arrested on racketeering charges in November 2018. He pled guilty to nine charges and faced a minimum of 47 years in prison, but he cut a deal in return for his full cooperation.
