AceShowbiz - Kanye West has beaten out pal Jay-Z to become the highest earning hip hop star in the world.
With the help of revenue from his Yeezy brand, The "Stronger" hitmaker is expected to earn $1.5 billion (£1.2 billion) this year, giving the rap superstar the top spot on the rich list for the first time.
West's officials $150 million (£120 million) income over the past year puts him $20 million (£16 million) ahead of second-placed Jay-Z.
Other stars making the 2019 rich list include Drake, P. Diddy, Travis Scott (II), DJ Khaled, Nicki Minaj, and Cardi B.
