AceShowbiz - Is Mike Johnson going to be next "The Bachelorette" star who dates a big star? Demi Lovato has been very vocal about her interest in the Air Force veteran when he competed for Hannah Brown's heart in her season of the dating show, and Mike has also expressed that he's interested in her. However, the two actually have yet to connect.
Mike made the revelation in an interview with PEOPLE on Monday, August 19. He said, "We have not connected and we have not exchanged freaky texts at all. Not to both." He similarly told Entertainment Tonight, "Nothing [has happened.]"
Even though Mike and Demi have yet to connect, that doesn't mean the reality TV star is ruling out a chance to open his heart to the Disney alum. He previously said of Demi at the taping of "Men Tell All" in Los Angeles, "I would definitely take her out for an initial date, yeah. 100 percent not scared about it all. I would be like, 'Oh my God! Girl, come here.' " He further gushed over Demi in a separate interview, "I think she's sexy, she's got a nice little booty on her and she has good voice."
Demi has been unashamedly showing her attraction to Mike during her live reactions to "The Bachelorette". In one of her Instagram Stories, she was heard saying, "Swing me, kiss me! Boo boo," before adding in the caption, "Mike I accept your rose."
Should Mike and Demi link up, he won't be the first "Bachelorette" alum to have been romantically linked to a big star. Wells Adams is currently engaged to Sarah Hyland, while Tyler Cameron has reportedly been dating Gigi Hadid after they were spotted going on dates together several times.
Talking about Tyler and Gigi's alleged romance with Entertainment Tonight, Mike said that he had not been pestering the male model for details. "She's beautiful, she is. But what I talk to him about is, 'Bro, what are you doing? Like, how are you getting your abs?' Literally, that's what I talk to Tyler about," he said.
