AceShowbiz - New details of Ashley Martson and Jay Smith's tumultuous marriage have surfaced, after the former called ICE on her estranged husband last week. The 32-year-old reality star accuses the 21-year-old Jamaican native of raping her and there's text messages to prove it.
In the newly unearthed screengrab of the text messages, Ashley lashed out at Jay for what "you did last night to me in this house," adding that "it's not a joke" and she was seriously upset. Jay apologized, writing back, "Sorry I hold you like that. And I never said it was a joke."
Ashley went more direct with her accusation, texting Jay again, "You forced me to have sex with you and it hurt so bad." Defending himself, Jay replied, "Your (sic) my wife. What the f**k. You're acting like we are not in a relationship and I tried to have sex."
Baffled by Jay's reaction, Ashley said she just got out of the hospital and she wasn't in the mood of making love at the time, and that Jay should have respected her feelings. She added that Jay "grabbed (her) by the throat and threw (her) on the bed then held (her) down by (her) wrists," leaving them bruised.
Jay apologized again, writing, "And I apologize for everything am sorry," promising "it will never happen again I CAN PROMISE YOU THAF (sic)."
Ashley filed a Protection From Abuse order against Jay after she claimed he broke into her home which she was on a vacation last week. The order barred Jay from talking about the order itself or Ashley on social media. He, however, violated the order by talking about their issues on Instagram within 24 hours after the order was issued.
Ashley then told police about Jay's Instagram Stories and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He turned himself into authorities in the early hours of Wednesday, July 3. He's currently in ICE custody and is at risk of getting deported back to Jamaica.
Jay later launched a GoFundMe to raise money so that he can obtain a lawyer to help him secure his release from an ICE detention center. The page, which was created by his friend, states that Jay "turned himself in to authorities Tuesday night with the understanding and intent that he was to see a judge the next morning and be released."
While he was released on the Violation of a Protection from Abuse Order charge, "he was immediately turned over to immigration enforcement and is being held in a jail cell as if he is a convicted criminal. Jay is sitting in jail, awaiting a hearing on wether he will be deported or be allowed to make a life for himself here in the U.S."
"Jay fears for his life if he is returned to Jamaica," it claims. "He is now seen as a traitor who has turned his back on his people and they will assume he has money since he was in America and on an American TV show so that keeps him at a continuously high threat for his safety if he is returned home."
The page has raised over $3,000 of its $5,000 goal so far.
