Fans believe the 'What's My Name?' singer was responding to her ex's controversial lyrics when she posted on her social media account with an emoji of a dark-skinned girl in the caption.

AceShowbiz - Chris Brown may have unwittingly made his former girlfriend Rihanna turn against him after maintaining amicable relationship since their split all this time. Fans believe the Barbadian songstress was shading her ex over his controversial "nice hair" lyrics in his newest song.
On Friday, July 5, the 31-year-old songstress shared on Instagram a quote which read, "2020 is in 6 months. Don't let anybody waste your time." She added an emoji of a dark-skinned girl in the caption.
Upon seeing her post, Rihanna's followers seemed to read between the lines, with one commenting, "Used the darkest emoji I see what you did there. FACTS. Be selective with your energy. I only want to be around people bringing value and good energy in 2019 and FOREVER."
Another shared his/her theory, "Wait? Is she single now? That dude best not have messed up. See how she used the dark skin emoji!? Shots at Chris. Ima needs for BLACK women to give Chris Brown the same energy all of you give Cyn Santana. Because it's negros like Chris Brown that make girls say the things they say about BLACK women So comfortably."
"Rih is so private. I doubt this would ever be about her relationship. Notice she used the dark skin emoji instead of the light skin emoji," someone else added. "Rihanna said she black no matter what shade she is lol.i can respect the fashion/ makeup mogul Rihanna over the music Rihanna any day... all of you want celebrities to stay in one place, and all of you never want them to expand."
Another fan, however, urged others to stop overspeculating. "Come on now, all of you know Rih well enough to know that this could mean something or absolutely nothing. Why are all of you bringing up Chris?I highly doubt she was speaking on him. She's mastered the arts of diversion and privacy. Don't even try," the said follower wrote.
In the song titled "Need a Stack" featuring Joyner Lucas and Lil Wayne, Chris talks about his preference on women. He sings, "Only wanna f**k the black b****es with the nice hair." The lyrics prompted backlash from Internet users who claimed he was being "colorist."
The "Kiss Kiss" singer later defended himself and his lyrics, writing on Instagram, "YALL TRIPPIN TRIPPIN YALL B****ES DONT WANNA F**K DA N***A WIT DA F***ED UP TEETH DO YOU???!!!! ONLY B****ES UPSET IS THE UGLIES (NOT THE BLACK QUEENS)."
"I DON'T GIVE A F**K BOUT YALL NEGATIVE BOOTYFACE A** B****ES, IM START GIVING AWAY FREE LACE-FRONTS FOR ALL YOU WIERD (sic) FEMALES WIT THE SKID ROW EDGES AND LOW SELF ESTEEM. ASIDE FROM THAT.... HOP OFF THESE NUTTS," he added in all-caps rant. "SO PLEASE DONT COME WIT DA BULLS**T I WILL FIRE DAT A** UP AND ROAST THE HELL OUT YOU OVERLY SENSITVE (sic) DUCKHEAD A** WEIRDOS."
