The 'Like a Virgin' songstress' latest album launches at No. 1 on the weekly chart with 95,000 equivalent album units, becoming her ninth chart-topping record.

AceShowbiz - Madonna earns her ninth No. 1 album on Billboard 200 after her latest record "Madame X" arrives atop the chart. The album, which hit the stores on June 14 via Interscope Records, racked up 95,000 equivalent album units, including 90,000 in traditional album sales, in the week ending June 20, according to Nielsen Music.

With that, Madonna continues to have the second-most No. 1 albums among female artists, just behind Barbra Streisand who has eleven No. 1 albums so far. Among all acts, the "Like a Virgin" hitmaker now ties with Eminem and Garth Brooks for the fifth artist who has the most No. 1 albums, trailing behind The Beatles (19), Jay-Z (14), Barbra and Bruce Springsteen (both 11) and Elvis Presley (10).

Back to this week's chart, Bruce earns his 20th top ten effort as "Western Stars" debuts at No. 2 with 66,000 units. This marks the first time for Madonna and Bruce to take the top two spots since 1985, when Bruce's "Born in the U.S.A." arrived atop the chart and Madonna's "Like a Virgin" held the runner-up slot.

Following behind the two is Billie Eilish's "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" which moves down to No. 3 with 58,000 units. Last week's chart-topper, Jonas Brothers' "Happiness Begins", falls to No. 4 in its second week with 52, 000 units. Another new release, Bastille's "Doom Days", launches at No. 5 with 41,000 units.

Khalid's "Free Spirits" switches position with Polo G's "Die a Legend". While the former album is now staying at the No. 6 spot with 37,000 units, the rapper's latest album falls to No. 7 with 29,000 units. DaBaby's "Baby on Baby" follows them at No. 8 with 28,000 units.

Closing out this week's top ten is a couple of albums which previously entered the top ten. Lizzo's "Cuz I Love You" rises to No. 9 with a little more than 27,000 units, while Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next" climbs two spots to No. 10 with 27,000 units.
