Earlier this month, the 'Level Up' singer also opened up about her failed romance with ex-fiance Future, with whom she shares a son together, on 'Red Table Talk'.

AceShowbiz - Ciara's appearance in an upcoming episode of RuPaul's self-named talk show will be an emotional one. In a preview for the episode, the "Level Up" singer can be seen fighting back tears while revealing that her parents Carlton and Jackie Harris have split.

"My parents were married for 33 years and they're not together anymore," she tearfully tells the host. "However, they are both happily married so it's good."

The wife of Russell Wilson may be happy now that her parents have found love again, but she shares that their divorce was still a "very out of body" experience for her. "Imagine you go for 33 years of mom and dad being together and when I had my child, my son, my first child [Future], I was like, I just know mommy and daddy that made [a] baby was what the scenario was supposed to be," she said.

"That was like, whoa, when that happened," she went on saying.

The singer explained that her parents went separate ways when she started dating now-husband Russell back in 2015. The musician and the athlete later tied the knot in 2016 before welcoming daughter Sienna a year later.

Earlier this month, Ciara also opened up about her failed romance with ex-fiance Future on "Red Table Talk". "I grew up with my mom and dad being together. The idea of it being mommy and daddy that made baby." the "Thinkin' Bout You" singer said to Jada Pinkett Smith. "Also, you're living your life in front of the world, so that adds a whole 'nother layer. I feel like I'm failing right now, they gon' roast me."

She went on saying that she made the decision to call it quits with the rapper after a long comtemplation. "When I was thinking about my son, I know what I want to feel. I know the kind of love that I want for us," she said. "What I did was -- [son] Future was like my teddy bear. So I was like, we gon' go. We 'bout to do this thing together."
