Meghan King Edmonds Can't Trust Husband Jim Despite His Denial on Cheating Allegations

The 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star breaks her silence on Jim's cheating scandal after her husband admitted he 'had a lapse in judgment,' but denied any physical contact with his alleged mistress.

AceShowbiz - Meghan King Edmonds has broken her silence on her husband Jim Edmonds' alleged affair after the latter denied that he had cheated on her. "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star took to her blog on Friday, June 14 to bare all about her feelings regarding the scandal through a lengthy statement.

In her blog post titled "I'm Sad", the 34-year-old said she only found out about Jim's alleged affair through the tabloids. She later called her husband, who confessed "that he had exchanged lewd photos with this woman over the course of several months," but claimed that "a physical relationship never existed."

Meghan admitted Jim paid his alleged mistress off to keep it from her, but she denied that she left a voicemail for the other woman.

As to how Meghan feels about her husband now, she wrote, "Do I believe him? I don't know. Because I don't trust him anymore. Physical or not, he still had an affair and he admits this to me."

She went on sharing, "I'm a simple girl. I wanted a solid marriage. I'm as loyal as they come and I wanted the vows we made when we exchanged our rings to be acted upon. Now my wedding ring symbolizes fraud." She added, "I refuse to be humiliated by this."

Blaming her husband for the cheating scandal, Meghan wrote, "A relationship takes two but it doesn't take two to cheat." Clearly still hurt, she claimed, "I did nothing wrong, I don't deserve this. ... So what is so broken in him to propel him to do this to me? To us? It wasn't one mistake, one lapse in judgement."

Opening up that they are currently also dealing with a health issue with their son, Hart, who might have a neurological disorder, the reality TV star admitted, "I feel sad. Oh, do I feel so sad! I feel abandoned. Lonely."

Meghan posted on her blog after Jim shared his side of the story in the cheating scandal. "Regrettably, I had a lapse in judgment. I engaged in an inappropriate conversation with this person," the former MLB star told Us Weekly on Thursday, June 13. "At no time was there any type of relationship or physical contact. Absolutely none. This is someone trying to profit from my name. I am aware she has done this to others in the past."

"Clearly, I made a very poor decision to expose myself and my family to this type of person. For this, I am truly sorry and sought forgiveness from my wife," he continued in the statement. "I'm outraged over the intent to ruin my family and intend to take legal action. We were never having any problems in our marriage. My attorney is in possession of documents wherein this person has admitted fabricating large portions of her 'story.' "

The 48-year-old Fox Sports broadcaster went on claiming that he "never had any sort of a physical relationship outside of my marriage with her or anyone else."

AllAboutTheTea first broke the news of Jim's alleged affair. The site published explicit screenshots of text messages allegedly sent from Jim, including photos of his penis. The retired athlete also allegedly sent a video of himself masturbating on the same day Meghan gave birth to their twins. Jim allegedly cheated on his second wife Allison Jayne Raski with the same mistress, who is referred to as the "baseball madame."
