Following the release of the first poster and official synopsis of the sequel to Academy Award-winning movie 'Frozen', a new trailer will be unveiled on Tuesday, June 11.

AceShowbiz - Elsa and Anna are about to embark on a new journey together, and it appears their new adventure won't be a smooth sailing one. And that is the clue that Disney teases when the company unveils the first poster for "Frozen 2".

Making its way out on Monday, June 10 on "Good Morning America", the poster shows the royal sisters standing back-to-back in a foggy and gloomy forest. Both of them look concerned, but they are also determined to take whatever challenge lies ahead of them. Their determination can be seen by how Elsa clenches her fist in the poster.

Besides the first poster, Disney has also unveiled the official synopsis of the sequel to "Frozen" that will focus on the origins of their parents. The official synopsis reads, "Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In 'Frozen', Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In 'Frozen 2', she must hope they are enough."

Tomorrow, on June 11, a new trailer for the much-anticipated movie will be released.

Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee return as directors for the sequel, which will feature new songs from award-winning songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Lee and Allison Schroeder ("Hidden Figures") team up to write the script, with Peter Delv Vecho returning as producer. Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad return to voice their respective characters as Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown are added to cast. However, their roles are still kept under wraps.

The animated musical film is slated to open in theaters across the nation on November 22. The release will be accompanied with a docuseries entitled "Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2", which will be launched on Disney+.
