AceShowbiz - Amber Heard has been dragged into her ex-husband Johnny Depp's legal battle with his former lawyers.

The "Aquaman" actress has been served with a deposition notice by Jacob Bloom and partners at his law firm, Bloom Hergott Diemer Rosenthal LaViolette Feldman Schenkman & Goodman, LLP, as part of their upcoming trial against Depp, who has accused them of "professional malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty and unjust enrichment."

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star sued for $30 million (£23 million) in late 2017, claiming they mismanaged his funds and gave him bad advice in his divorce battle with Heard, but Bloom and his fellow defendants hit back, insisting Depp is solely to blame for his financial woes.

Now lawyers representing Bloom and co. have issued paperwork to question a number of people in Depp's life, including Heard, her ex-boyfriend Elon Musk, and the actor's divorce attorney Blair Berk.

Also served on Wednesday, April 17 were top Hollywood attorney Marty Singer, and former Warner Bros. boss Kevin Tsujihara, who Depp allegedly tried to convince to drop Heard from the studio's movies, including DC Comics blockbusters Justice League and Aquaman, according to Deadline.com.

They are all potential witnesses for Bloom's side when the case goes to trial in September.

Depp sat for a lengthy deposition as part of the ongoing legal dispute in December (18).
