Contrary to rumors, a source says the mother of Lindsay Lohan didn't have plans to finally meet Jesse Nadler for the first time since they started dating in 2014, before the breakup over a book he promoted on Facebook.

AceShowbiz - Dina Lohan broke up with her boyfriend Jesse Nadler after five years of online dating. The mother of Lindsay Lohan confirms the split to E! News after Jesse talked about it first on several media outlets. "It's always sad when a friendship is over but people have always run to the media about me and my family," she says. "I thought he was different until I had my suspicions, which he just proved to be justified."
Dina and Jesse had never met in person since they started dating in 2014. It was previously reported that they had planned to meet for the first time before the breakup, but a source close to Dina denies that there was a meeting scheduled between the two before she called it quits, because she was already suspicious that he was simply looking for media attention and his "15 minutes of fame."
The source tells TMZ, "This is a storm in a tea cup. There was no meeting scheduled as of yet because Dina was already suspicious that he was media hungry and she is in talks about doing several new shows -- including a dating show. Bottom line is it's a non-story and this guy wants his 15 minutes of fame. He just proved her suspicions correct."
Sharing his version of the story to TMZ, Jesse revealed they broke up after getting into a fight over a book he promoted on his Facebook page. Dina reportedly thought the book was about another woman and she flipped out, though he denied it. Jesse said Dina tried to apologize to him, but he was over it.
Jesse also spoke to ET Online, claiming that Dina didn't immediately apologize to him when she realized he was innocent. "She wouldn't say 'I'm sorry,' even though she knew she was wrong," he said. When she finally apologized, Jesse didn't believe it's sincere, saying she's "very stubborn, headstrong, and it's tough to deal with."
Jesse further dished on their alleged plans to meet in San Fransisco this week. They were reportedly about to go on a trip to Tiburon and have a romantic ride down the Pacific Coast to Carmel and Pebble Beach. Jesse claimed he planned to propose to Dina in Carmel. He said he already bought a ring and is "really hurting" right now, but still loves her.
He claimed Dina is "upset," but added that they're still texting and planning to talk it out. Jesse additionally said that he would reconsider getting back together with Dina if she offers a sincere apology.
Dina first revealed she was in a long-distance relationship with Jesse during her stint on "Celebrity Big Brother". "He's real. I swear, it's crazy. But I'm going to marry him. It's really, really true. I talk to his ma!" she told her housemates on the show.
