AceShowbiz - Toby Keith and Blake Shelton have paid tribute to their country music hero Earl Thomas Conley following his death on Wednesday, April 10.
The "Holding Her and Loving You" singer passed away in Nashville, Tennessee, and Shelton and Keith were among the first people to offer up their respects.
Shelton actually broke the news online with an emotional post, writing, "My heart is absolutely destroyed today. I'm sad to report that Earl Thomas Conley passed away very early this morning."
"Earl was my all time favorite singer, hero and my friend. Prayers to his family. We will all miss you deeply my brother. Now go rest...".

Shelton scored a 2002 hit with "All Over Me", which he co-wrote with Conley.
