AceShowbiz - Is this Selena Gomez's response to Justin Bieber's admission that he still loves her? The 26-year-old singer/actress has broken her Instagram silence after her ex admitted he will always have a soft spot for her in a statement defending his marriage to Hailey Baldwin.
In her latest Instagram post, the "Wolves" singer shared a throwback photo of her looking gorgeous in a red dress. Flaunting her ample cleavage, she showed a sharp gaze while looking away from the camera. She simply captioned it with "throw b."
While she didn't mention anything about her former boyfriend Justin in the post, a source has said that Justin's statement made Selena feel nostalgic. "Selena is very aware of Justin's defense of and sweet words about Hailey," the so-called insider told HollywoodLife.com. "But, Selena also appreciates what Justin said about her too, and shares some of the same feelings. Selena will always have love and a place in her heart for Justin too."
The "Wizards of Waverly Place" alum reportedly remains supportive of Justin and his marriage as the source added, "She is doing her best to give Justin space and respect his marriage to Hailey. Selena did not get too emotional or cry over Justin's statement, but it did make her think about him and remind her of the good times and love they shared. She hopes that he and Hailey are both happy."
Selena and Justin dated on-and-off from 2010 before they broke up for good in March 2018. Justin later married Hailey Baldwin in September, after rekindling their romance in June.
Justin released the statement addressing his feelings for Selena after Internet trolls attacked his wife Hailey and accused him of marrying the model only to get back at Selena. "why would I dedicate my whole life to someone in marriage to get back (at) my ex," he wrote back to the haters. "anyone who believes this is mean spirited or 10 years old or younger because a logical person doesn't talk or think this way u should be ashamed of yourself really (sic)."
"I absolutely loved and love Selena she will always hold a place in my heart, but I am head over heals (sic) in love with my wife and she is absolutely the BEST THING that has ever happened to me period," the 25-year-old Canadian singer declared.
