While the 'American Idol' alum belts out 'I'll Fight' from documentary 'RBG', the veteran singer gives a lovely rendition of 'Mary Poppins Returns' soundtrack.

AceShowbiz - More musicians took the stage at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California to offer stunning performances for the 91st Academy Awards. Jennifer Hudson wowed audience and viewers at home with a powerful rendition of "I'll Fight", the track featured in the "RBG" documentary, on Sunday, February 24.

Her performance was introduced by Emilia Clarke, who looked beautiful in her silver gown. Hudson later appeared in front of a giant LED screen which showed the white pillars of D.C.'s Supreme Court Building. Dressed in a black satin tuxedo coat with flowing train and fluffy black bow tie, the "American Idol" alum perfectly hit all the notes during her performance.

Next to take the stage was Bette Midler, who channeled Mary Poppins for a performance of "The Place Where Lost Things Go" from "Mary Poppins Returns". The performance kicked off with a bang as Keegan-Michael Key introduced the veteran singer by dropping from the ceiling with a Mary Poppins style umbrella.

Making things lovely, a slew of red umbrellas levitated and glowed in the background while Midler belted out the tune, which was written for a scene in which Marry Poppins (Emily Blunt) found a metaphor to talk to children about their mother's death. The song's co-writer, Marc Shaiman, accompanied her on piano.

"The Place Where Lost Things Go" and "I'll Fight" are both nominated for Best Original Song, competing against Kendrick Lamar and SZA's "All the Stars" from "Black Panther", Lady GaGa and Bradley Cooper's "Shallow" from "A Star Is Born" as well as Tim Blake Nelson and Willie Watson's "When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings" from "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs".

Prior to this, Queen and Adam Lambert opened the hostless event with rendition of "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions".
