AceShowbiz - Lena Headey is not going to let internet trolls ruin her day. The "Game of Thrones" actress was recently slammed for going makeup free in her latest Instagram video, and she doesn't even mince words in her epic clap back at the haters.
The video, which she posted on Tuesday, February 12, saw the Cersei Lannister depicter promoting her new movie "Fighting with My Family". The Golden Globe nominee was featured chilling inside the plane.
Instead of focusing on the message Lena conveyed in the video, an Instagram user chose to find a fault on her decision to not wear makeup. "don't record yourself without makeup again please," the user wrote in the comment section. Lena was not having it at all as she shared a screenshoot of the comment and captioned it, "I shall continue to not wear make up. Go f**k your self."
Fans were also jumping to her defense, praising her for flawless beauty with or without makeup. "Seriously? Lena Headey is the hottest woman I've seen! I'm sorry you had to see that, Lena. Ignore these piece of s**t cowards!" one fan said. "Wow... Never wear makeup please. I love your face," another comment read.
In addition to fans, a slew of celebrities joined in on the comment section. "Game of Thrones" co-star Carice van Houten wrote, "I get that too. F**K THAT." Ever Carradine, who stars on "The Handmaid's Tale" added, "F**k that noise. You're perfect."
Meanwhile, Emilia Clarke applauded her by saying, "PREACH BEAUTIFUL WOMAN." Gwendoline Christie, who portrays Brienne of Tarth on "GoT", also showed her support by leaving a series of heart emojies on the comment.
The trolls aside, fans are anticipating the eighth and final season of "Game of Thrones". Also starring Kit Harington and Peter Dinklage among others, the new season will premiere on April 14 at 9 P.M. on HBO.
