AceShowbiz - New York Fashion Week has unofficially kicked off with the arrival of amfAR Gala. The annual event, which is held to raise money for AIDS and HIV research, took place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Wednesday, February 6 and attracted a number of A-listers, including sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian as well as Heidi Klum.
For the glamorous event, the famous sister were twinning in black, with Kim Kardashian stepping out in a vintage Versace gown with a daring low-cut bodice. She paired the dramatic dress with clear plastic high-heeled sandals and wore her hair down. As for her makeup, Kim wore her usual smokey eye and natural lip color.
Her older sister, on the other hand, wore a black down which pushed up her cleavage and featured thick shoulder straps and thigh-high slit. The dress surely allowed her to showcase her toned leg. Completing her look for the night, Kourt wore her hair in a slicked back, high ponytail and added a smokey eye and natural lip color.
Another star who flaunted her ample cleavage that night was Heidi. The "America's Got Talent" judge set pulse racing with a Paolo Sebastian silver dress with fringe at hem, ensuring all eyes would be on her. The supermodel let her blonde locks down as she finished off the look with matching strappy metallic heels.
Other stars who attended the annual gala included Candice Swanepoel, Milla Jovovich and Alessandra Ambrosio. While the South African stunner arrived in a black-and-white gown which featured a large white bow tied behind her back and a dangerously high slit, 43-year-old Milla stunned in a shiny gold gown and turquoise earrings. Alessandra, meanwhile, turned heads in her black gown.
This year, the amfAR gala was honoring Milla, auctioneer Simon de Pury and photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The Chainsmokers and Kelsea Ballerini were performing during the event.
