Kate Major, who married Michael Lohan in 2014, was reportedly intoxicated and extremely angry when the bus driver missed her stop.

AceShowbiz - Lindsay Lohan's stepmother Kate Major has probably had her worst Christmas ever. The former tabloid reporter was arrested on Tuesday, December 25 for allegedly attacking a bus driver in Pennsylvania, The Blast reports.

Kate was reportedly a passenger on a Bieber Tourways bus in Allentown, PA as she was traveling for the holidays. The troubled 35-year-old, who married Lindsay's father Michael Lohan in 2014, was "intoxicated at the time" and "became irate and attacked the driver" when the driver missed her stop, according to sources.

The Pennsylvania State Police confirmed Kate's arrest and said that she was booked into Lehigh County Jail. There's no word if she has been released or not, and if so, how much the bail is set at.

This wasn't the first time Kate had a brush with the law. Earlier this year, in July, she was busted in Florida for alleged battery on her husband Michael. She reportedly hurled a glass candle at Lindsay's father during a heated argument at their home in Boca Raton.

According to Michael, Kate went ballistic because she thought he was secretly recording her and wanted him to delete the footage from his cell phone. She also accused him of stealing her cell phone. He claimed that he left the house to try and diffuse the situation, but she followed him and threw the glass candle at him, leaving him with "a superficial cut" on his left arm.

Kate denied throwing the candle and told cops she had no clue how Michael hurt himself. She also suggested Michael had purposefully hurt himself to land her in trouble.

The charges were eventually dropped after it was determined there was not enough evidence. Kate was previously taken into custody in August 2017 for a mental-health evaluation after an argument with Michael, who she claimed took their children.

Kate filed for divorce from Michael in September, describing their relationship as "irretrievably broken."
