The 40-year-old rapper's daughter, Chanel, is the first to break the news by sharing on Instagram that the 'golden child' is here.

AceShowbiz - Remy Ma and husband Papoose have finally welcomed a new addition to their little family after ten years of marriage. The "All the Way" up rapper gave birth to their first child together on Friday, December 14. The announcement was made by Papoose's daughter from previous relationship, Chanel, via Instagram.
"THE GOLDEN CHILD IS HERE!!!! I'm really crying," so she wrote on the photo-sharing platform, adding in the caption, "I'm so excited omg!! I'm really crying GOD IS GOOD!!" Chanel, whose real name is Dejanae Mackie, didn't share whether the newborn is a boy or a girl, but many suspected that Remy gave birth to a baby girl.
The road to welcoming their first child wasn't easy, as Papoose noted on Instagram that his rapper wife had a tough labor. Despite that, she didn't give up. "Tough labor... but my wife is still fighting through it," he shared. "She's a warrior! Keep us in your prayers! #thegoldenchild is on the way."
While the newborn is the couple's first child, Remy already has a 18-year-old son named Jayson from a previous children. Papoose himself has three children of his own.
Even though the lovebirds have finally been blessed with their first child, it doesn't mean they don't consider having another little one. In fact, the female emcee previously shared that they already considered trying again around 2020.
"Ok, so when we did IVF, we did two cycles," she said in an interview. "The first cycle, we only got one egg and I was nervous. I was like, let's just do it again so we'll have more. We got one again the second time so we had two."
She continued, "One was a boy, one was a girl, but I didn't know which one. Whichever one was first, put that one back first and then the other one. So I told [Papoose], if he behaves and doesn't spoil the golden child like he's planning to do, we have a good baby and he accepts my nanny stuff and all of that, maybe somewhere around 2020, we'll do the other one."
