Two months after they filed to overturn Cosby's sexual assault conviction, the lawyers for the 81-year-old argue that Judge Steven O'Neill committed 11 legal errors during the trial.

AceShowbiz - Bill Cosby's lawyers have officially filed to appeal his sexual assault conviction.
The 81-year-old "The Cosby Show" star was put behind bars in September after he was sentenced to serve three to 10 years in state prison for drugging and assaulting Andrea Constand at his Pennsylvania home in 2004.
In October, Cosby's lawyers filed to overturn the sentence, arguing Judge Steven O'Neill erred in declaring Cosby a sexually violent predator and that his sentence was more punitive than necessary.
Their motion was subsequently denied, but they are now appealing for a new trial.
According to the New York Post's Page Six, they are arguing that Judge O'Neill committed 11 legal errors during the trial, including allowing additional accusers - who were not directly involved in the Constand case - to testify.
"The trial court abused its discretion, erred and infringed on Mr. Cosby's constitutional rights to Due Process of Law under the Constitution of the United States and of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in admitting five prior bad act witnesses," Cosby's lawyers write.
Prosecutors will now have 30 days to respond to the appeal before it heads to Superior Court justices for review.
Cosby is currently serving his sentence at SCI Phoenix prison in Pennsylvania.
